Three lucky families were recently chosen for a morning full of fun and adventure with Wetwheels on their special pirate day at Sovereign Harbour.
Despite the wet and windy weather meaning that the boats couldn’t venture any further than the outer harbour, our families had the most brilliant time.
It was a fabulous time for our children to chat, work together as a team and laugh uproariously. Even the most reserved child was soon laughing and getting stuck in with all the action.
The crew, and the other boats, certainly made sure the event lived up to the name, as everyone on the boat ended up completely soaking wet! There was an all out boat-to-boat water fight, with our families being soaked by the enemy water cannon and even the RNLI water hose. The shrieks of laughter coming from all the boats taking part were truly a joy to hear. Thank you all the boats who came along to take part in this special event.
To complete their thrilling trip, our families went on a treasure hunt around the harbour, finishing in North Harbour where they discovered and safely captured the treasure, which was retrieved from a lobster pot. After all that hard work and adventuring, everyone was rewarded with some golden doubloons (chocolate coins!).
Thank you to Wetwheels South East for allowing our families this wonderful opportunity to simply have fun together and make incredible memories of such a unique experience. It was surely a day our families will treasure for a long time to come ❤️
