Back in January this year, Zoe and Chloe met with the lovely Jane who runs 'The Good Companions' Group to tell us the wonderful news that they had chosen Children with Cancer Fund as their Charity of the Year 2019. We told Jane all about the work of the charity and discussed the exciting fundraising plans Jane had coming up with the group.

In March, Chloe joined the Good Companions at St. Luke's Church and gave a talk to the group about CWCF, with many of the members taking a penny pot home to collect their spare change to donate to us. We have since had an amazing flow of donations from the group's fundraising activities throughout the year.

On November 9th, Chloe popped back down to St. Luke's Church to give an update talk to the group and joined them with their fundraising afternoon. Jane and the group had organised some fantastic games including a tombola, guess the sweets in the jar, play your cards right, a raffle and bingo (just to name a few!). Everyone who attended he afternoon had a great time, taking the Good Companions fundraising total to over £500!

Thank you so much to Jane and The Good Companions for your amazing support, we love working with you  ?❤️
