Highly Commended at Eastbourne Business Awards 2025

We were thrilled to even be nominated at the Eastbourne Business Awards 2025 so we certainly had no expectations when we turned up to the Awards Ceremony on Friday 10th October.  We took our seats and prepared for a fun evening of food, drink and watching all the worthy winners collecting their awards.

What a surprise we had when we were awarded Highly Commended in the Health and Wellbeing Award Category!

We are so honoured to have been recognised in this way, against so many other incredible businesses and charities chosen as finalists.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

This is one of Chris’ favourite sayings and it has been adopted as an unofficial motto here at the CWCF office. We certainly wouldn’t have been put forward without the hard work and dedication of our amazing team of staff, volunteers and supporters.

The way in which so many incredible people have put their heart and soul into building Children with Cancer Fund into the charity it is today never ceases to amaze.

Never Forgetting our Children

While we are thrilled and thankful that our work has been acknowledged on this stage, we never forget that the reason we are here is for our children. They are truly the ones who deserve to be awarded for their awe-inspiring bravery and resilience in the face of a cancer diagnosis.

So, award or no award, we will continue doing what we do: supporting local children with cancer and their families in the best way we know how.
