Exploring Smugglers Adventure

In another brand new event for this year, we took our families for a fabulous day out at Smugglers Adventure in Hastings followed by a delicious lunch at The Pelican Diner 🍔 🥤

We all met at the entrance to the caves full of anticipation for what was a new experience for most of us. We certainly weren't disappointed once we made our way inside. The children had a great time investigating and getting involved with the many interactive displays on offer. The stocks were hugely popular of course, what could be more fun than trapping Mum and Dad!🤣

The caves turned out to be the perfect location for children to explore together while being allowed some independence in a relaxed, safe environment and they all loved it 💛

After the cave exploration was complete we then headed down to the diner for lunch. We were lucky enough to have the top floor all to ourselves which gave our families lots of chance to mingle and chat. The food was "amazing"! 🌟🥗

One of our parents noted that it was "lovely to catch up with the CWCF family". We are so proud to have helped build a community of such amazing, brave and resilient people and to have it become family for them really is heartwarming.

Thank you to all the lovely staff at Smugglers Adventure and The Pelican Diner for being so friendly and welcoming. We have had such lovely feedback from all our families about this event that we're sure we'll be back to do it all again 😊
