An Afternoon of Horse Riding, Smiles, and Family Fun

At Children with Cancer Fund, enabling families to create precious memories together is at the heart of what we do, so we were delighted to bring a group of families together for a wonderful afternoon of horse riding at Polegate Equestrian Centre.

Children and their families enjoyed the opportunity to meet, groom, and ride on some of the very friendly horses at the stables. For some of the children, it was their first experience on horseback and seeing their nervous faces light up with excitement was a pure joy.

Alongside the horse-riding, we treated the families to a delicious buffet lunch which gave everyone the chance to relax, chat, and enjoy spending time with each other in the shelter of the barn.

No family fun day would be fully complete without face painting! Thanks to the talented Claire who spent the afternoon putting smiles on so many little faces as they were transformed into unicorns, puppies, Spiderman and so much more!
