Friends of CWCF
What does being a Friend OF CWCF mean?
We created the FRIENDS of CWCF to keep people who are interested in our cause informed of developments, opportunities and events.
By becoming a “Friend of CWCF” you will receive our yearly newsletter ensuring you are kept up to speed with what is happening in our organisation. If there is not a street delivery or a mail drop to your street, by becoming a Friend, you will be guaranteed to receive a newsletter through the post. If you are in one of our street drop streets, you’ll receive your newsletter before the rest of the street.
The CWCF Newsletter gives you the chance to get involved in our activities, if you feel you would like to get involved then please contact us You could be helping with our fund-raising activities, delivering newsletters in your local area or maybe helping the charity with any skills you may have.
We send out a newsletters once a year and to get each newsletter printed and distributed it costs around £1.
If you feel you could make a donation towards the cost of producing and distributing our newsletter, or have any ways in which you think you may be able to help, we would love to hear from you.
As the number of Friends has increased, so has the administration of managing them.
Luckily for us Karen and Richard have stepped in to help.
Karen has taken on the role of Friends Secretary which means things are now running smoothly.
Every time the newsletter is produced Karen & Richard beaver away putting newsletters in envelopes and addressing them ready for our fantastic group of helpers who walk the streets, dropping them through your door.
